THE BIBLE
We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God and without error in the original manuscripts. They are of supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21).

GOD
We believe in one eternal God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in essence, but distinct in person and function (Exodus 20:2-3; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6).

CREATION
We believe in God’s direct creation of the universe in six literal 24-hour days without the use of any pre-existing material and apart from any process of evolution whatsoever, according to the Genesis account (Genesis 1:1-31; Exodus 20:11; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 11:3).

JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, has existed eternally, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of Mary, a virgin, and is true God and true man (John 1:1,14; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14; Galatians 4:4).

We believe in the physical resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there as High Priest and Advocate (Matthew 28:1-7; Acts 1:8-11; 1 Corinthians 15:4-9; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 2:1).

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the agent of the new birth through conviction of sin and regeneration, and that He seals, indwells and baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ at the moment of conversion. We believe that the Holy Spirit fills, empowers and distributes spiritual gifts to believers to serve one another, but that the sign gifts of speaking in tongues, performing miracles, healing the sick and predictive prophecy passed away with the apostles in the first century (John 3:5; 16:7-11; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:11-12; 5:18; Romans 12:6-8; Hebrews 2:3-4; 1 Peter 4:10; Ephesians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 13:8-13).

MAN
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby brought upon himself physical death and spiritual death which is separation from God, and that all human beings are totally depraved, born with a sinful nature and are sinners in thought, word and deed (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:1-6; Romans 3:10-13; 5:12, 19; Jeremiah 17:9).

SALVATION
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, and that His atonement is applied only to those whom God elected to salvation from before the foundation of the world. (Isaiah 53:4-11; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21; Ephesians 1:4-11; Romans 8:29-30; 9:11-24; John 1:13; 6:44).

We believe that all who repent of their sins and by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God (John 1:12; 3:3-16; Acts 16:31; 17:30; Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe in the eternal security of all true believers, that it is impossible for one born again into the family of God ever to be lost, because he is forever kept by the power of God (John 6:39;10:28-29; Romans 8:35-39; 1 Peter 1:5).

FUTURE EVENTS
We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to take all church age believers to heaven. We believe a period of seven years of tribulation will come upon the earth after the church is taken out of the world. Then the Lord Jesus Christ will come to earth to reign for a 1,000 years during a golden age of peace. (John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; Psalm 2:8-9; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-13; Revelation 20:1-7; Isaiah 11:6-9). At the close of the Millennium comes the judgment of unbelievers. The saved will enter the eternal state of glory with God (Revelation 20-22).

We believe in the literal fulfillment of the prophecies and the promises of Scripture which foretell and assure the future regeneration and restoration of national Israel (Genesis 13:14-17; Jeremiah 16:14-15; 30:6-11; Romans 11).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in the new heaven and new earth, and the everlasting punishment of the lost in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:28-29; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 21:1-8).

THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church, which is Christ’s body, is the spiritual organism consisting of all born again believers of this New Testament age (Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:13).

We believe that it is God’s plan to work through the local church in this age. A Baptist church is an organized body of believers, baptized by immersion upon a credible confession of faith in Jesus Christ, having two offices (pastor and deacon), self-ruling and independent of outside leadership, and banded together for spiritual service, worship, edification, the observance of baptism and Holy Communion, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission. We do not accept women preachers (Acts 2:41-47; Ephesians 3:10; Matthew 16:18; 28:18-20; 1 Timothy 3; 1 Peter 5:1-3; 1 Timothy 2:11-12).

We believe in the separation of church and state. We believe that we are free to enjoy spiritual fellowship with all believers in Christ, but that we should not partnership in spiritual work with any ecumenical endeavor, neo-orthodoxy, or any such efforts that compromise Bible truth (Matthew 22:21; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; Romans 16:17; 2 Thessalonians 3:6; 1 Timothy 6:3-5)

We believe that the scriptural ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord’s supper and are to be administered by the local church; that baptism by immersion, should be administered to believers as a symbol of their belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and as a testimony to the world of that belief and of their death, burial, and resurrection with Him; and that the Lord’s supper should be partaken of by baptized believers to show forth His death “till He come” (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-47; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28).
